AOI
MEK FDAz520 includes vertical top view of checked PCB and also 8 side
views. All cameras utilize telecentric optics devices, so there is no
distortion of the final images.
AOI MEK has controlled Z-axis for
multiple layers checking in the Z-axis. This machine includes unique
solution of three-angle lighting or their mutual combination while each
angle differes in illuminating color. Perpendicular light lights PCB via
semitransparent mirror below the camera so light falls on PCB really
under 90 degrees and prevents false reflections.
The main camera can
also read 2D codes, which we are printed on all of our PCBs and so the
machine is able to generate reports with findings automatically.
Many
manufacturers of AOI offer high resolution cameras, which may lead to
large number of errors in evalution. It is important to focus on pixel
size and on not their amount. There are "only" 2 MPix cameras, but they
are supplemented by the above mentioned unique optical system. Together
with the supplied software, AOI MEK provides reliable PCB optical
inspection with minimal errors.
